The Fire Gateway is a web portal which has been developed to allow businesses and the general public to access, and interact with, an array of fire-related services online. Development of the Gateway was funded by Communities and Local Government and developed with the involvement of English Fire and Rescue Services.

Following a period of operational support and maintenance by a contract team, The Fire Service College - the responsible body for the Fire Gateway - went out to National tender to locate a company with the skills and capabilities to support the day-to-day running of the Fire Gateway and manage new enhancements and developments that would promote use and encourage sustainability. Having successfully been awarded the contract, Nomos is now responsible for providing a full-time 1st line support function for the Gateway, for providing an interface between the public and all 44 Fire and Rescue Services in England, for managing all 3rd party suppliers and contracts and for designing and managing all developments across the Portal.
